About Us

Christopher Bragg Auctions
A Leading Melbourne Antique Auction Specialist

Specializing in the sale of estates, our auctions are packed with a large variety of antiques, art, collectables, objects of virtue, tribal artifacts, coins & stamps, books, pre-loved quality household furniture & white goods.

Managing estates, we can assist in the disposal of estates. We take suitable items into our auction house and organise the donation of goods unsuitable for auction to three local charity groups, Eastern Emergency Relief Network, North Blackburn Lions Club and Vinnies.

Established in 1995, 5 years later we moved in to our permanent rooms at 619 Canterbury Road and rapidly became a leading Melbourne antique auction house. On 1st April 2012 we moved our rooms to 18-20 Lilydale Grove, Hawthorn East 3123. During may 2014 we moved to expanded rooms at 719 Whitehorse Road Mt Albert 3127.  Due to proposed developments at our Whitehorse Road location we have now moved to 194 Christmas Street, Alphington 3078.

We are open between 10am & 4pm Tuesday to Friday, and from 10am to 1.00pm on Saturdays for collections, deliveries and advice, excepting the week of an auction when viewing times apply.

Antique, art & general auctions are usually held on the last Sunday of the month commencing at 11am unless otherwise advertised.

Special auctions are held periodically and will be advertised in the press as well as on the website to reach an international, interstate and outer Melbourne audience.

Valuations are undertaken. In addition to the auction service we offer a range of valuation services. For formal written valuations in respect of insurance, probate & family division a fee will be charged. Verbal appraisals are generally free of charge. You may choose to show us photo's or, where convenient, bring your items to the rooms. Where travel is involved, a fee may be incurred.
